SEMINAR OVERVIEW
The therapeutic action of essential oils is multi-faceted and includes psychological, neurological, immunological and microbiological effects. These effects are seen in elements of essential oils. Added to this is the possible synergistic action between constituents within a single oil and between two or more essentials oils. However, synergy does not always occur in mixtures.
Misinformation about aromatherapy comes from many sources. These have included, at times, aromatherapists, doctors, research scientists, commercial interests, and journalists. Misinformation is sometimes not intentional, but it is always confusing and can lead to unnecessary restrictions on practice.
In this seminar, Robert separates the real from the mythical by referring to clinical trials and other data. He will discuss how essential oils are being used both reactively and proactively to improve health and well-being, with optimum safety and efficacy, sometimes in ways you might not have imagined.
